Who we are
AnyMake (anymake.dev) is run by Ivan Yanez, a sole trader established in Ireland. He is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@anymake.dev.
What we collect and why
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | To sign you in with a link and to reach you about your account | Contract |
| If you sign in with Apple or Google: the address they confirm and, for Apple, a token | To sign you in. We keep Apple's token only to revoke it when you delete your account. We receive no password and no other profile data. | Contract |
| A session cookie | To keep you signed in. While you sign in with Apple or Google, a second cookie holds that sign-in's state for at most 10 minutes. These are the only cookies we set. We use no tracking or advertising cookies. | Contract (strictly necessary) |
| Prompts, uploaded photos and clips, and the images and videos you make | To generate your results and keep them in your gallery | Contract |
| Credit purchases, plan and balance | To sell credits, charge jobs and keep accounting records | Contract and legal obligation |
| Your IP address | To limit abuse of the free demo and of sign-in. Kept in counters that are deleted after two days. | Legitimate interest |
| Technical logs (job ids, model, timing, cost, errors) | To run and fix the service. We do not log the text of your prompts. | Legitimate interest |
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Photos of people
If you upload a photo of a face, it is used only to make the image or video you asked for, and to check the result. It is sent to the model provider that runs the job, and it can be sent to a text model provider (Google or OpenAI) that describes the photo and the result so we can check the result kept the same person. We do not use it to identify anyone. Upload only photos you have the right to use.
Public demo clips
A clip made with the free demo on the home page is public: anyone with its link can view it. Do not put private information in a demo prompt or photo.
Who processes your data
- Cloudflare: hosting, database, file storage and email.
- Stripe: payments. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.
- Model providers, which receive the prompt and any uploaded media for the job they run: OpenAI, Google, Black Forest Labs, Ideogram, xAI, fal and Higgsfield. To check the results of a Make, Google or OpenAI can also receive its uploaded photo and its results, and describe them in words.
- TypeSafe: reads the prompt to choose the recipe and the best model, and reads those descriptions (words, not images) to check results. It is told whether a photo was attached, never sent the photo.
Some of these companies are in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or the EU, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses in each provider's terms.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, results and history until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting the account deletes everything in it, credit history included. Payment records stay with the payment processors (Stripe, and Apple for purchases in the iOS app) as long as tax law requires. Model providers delete their copies of outputs after about seven days. Demo counters keyed by IP address are deleted after two days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. You can delete any result, or your whole account, on the Account page. To use any other right, email support@anymake.dev. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
AnyMake is not for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above. We email you before a change that affects how we use your data.
